Concentric - Hong Kong River Joint Venture was awarded the contract to construct the Advance Works for NSL Cross Harbour Tunnels. The project, which was one of the MTR Shatin-Central Link contracts, involved the rail Trenching Works in Victoria Harbour, Channel Levelling Works in Shek O and Rock Filling Works in Shek O. The project team successfully executed all marine works mitigation measures to avoid environmental impacts to water quality and construction noise as well as the traffic impact to the busy navigation channel in Victoria Harbour.
