Concentric was commissioned by HKIVE to carry out slope stabilization works at Kwun Tong IVE. Key deliverables include the construction of :

• Soil nail / rock dowels / rock sockets / rock anchors, construction of reinforced concrete soil nail heads and cutting and filling of slopes;
• Surface treatment to slopes with hydroseeding, erosion control mat, wire mesh with fixing pins;
• Hot dip galvanised mild steel hand railing to maintenance staircases;
• Site drainage works;
• Inspection and repair of all existing surface drainage system including surface channels, catch pits, sand traps and weep holes on existing slopes within proposed slope works limit and to provide temporary drainage for surface water throughout the contract period in clean functional order until completion of the Works; and
• Supplementary ground investigation works to verify the existing soil / rock profiles and underground water tables.
